Ilorin Durbar: The Dazzling Appearance of Turaki Saliu Mustapha

The Turaki of Ilorin, Senator Saliu Mustapha stormed Ilorin Durbar with his dazzling appearance.

Senator Saliu Mustapha on Tuesday joined Durbar possession from his family house in Gambari before connecting with entourage of Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Zulu-Gambari.

Turaki in his humble and humane character acknowledges cheers from supporters during the Durbar possession. Ilorin Durbar festival is a cultural heritage of the Emirate where different families joined Emir in their horses amidst excitement, fun and glamour.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and his brother who is the Mutawali of Ilorin, Dr Alimi AbdulRazaq also led possession from their family house in Idigba.
