Popular social media sensation, Habeeb Hamzat, Popularly known as Peller has revealed that he makes 80Million Naira weekly on a social media network, TikTok.

The TikTok star disclosed a shocking fact during a broadcast interview on ‘Rubbin minds’ television program, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, that he was a carpenter, before finding his way into the social media business, where he now earns N20Million weekly translating to N80million per month.

The content creator shared his early life experience, noted that his journey began when he was just 13 years old, learning a skill at a printing press.

He said he usually absconded from work, afraid of ending up poor and miserable.
Peller added that his parents eventually discovered his truancy and beat him, leading him to embrace carpentry as a new skill to learn.

Despite his initial reluctance, he put effort into learning carpentry. He said he was discouraged by his boss’s modest lifestyle, wondering when he could afford his dream car.

It was amidst doubt, failure, fear of poverty, uncertainty and struggle that Peller discovered TikTok, and has since been committed to it.

“I was actually putting effort into it but my boss was also driving a very small car and in my head it made me feel like, if this was his car then which day would I be able to afford mine? It was while I was still learning carpentry that I ventured into TikTok.”

Peller also addressed rumours about earning N200 million on TikTok. He revealed that he makes at least $2000 to $3000 per stream and goes live on TikTok thrice a week.

“All the conversations about me making ₦200 million are not true. I didn’t go to TikTok to make money. I went there because I wanted to be doing tap-tap. Before, I wasn’t even interested in making money on TikTok,” he said.
“In this life, you have to have a strategy. I noticed that when I asked for gifts, my views go down. But when I’m just talking, I think my people love me. Even the people who say I’m not funny keep watching me when I’m just talking normally. Now, I just go on live stream and talk. I won’t even ask for gifts, but when I end the live video, I can see like $2,000 or $3,000 for just 20 to 30 minutes.”
The host asked what Peller makes weekly on average on TikTok and he responded that he earns between N15 million and N20 million.
